Although most people know a little bit about the Sun King, in this history, his actions and motives are explored to reveal a different person than the one the history texts describe. Instead of the usual flamboyant, womanizing, spendthrift, we encounter the man behind the headlines, whose first concern was always his country.An engrossing and eye-opening read.Highly recommend.
