I almost googled the author to see if this was a guy writing. It was just I'm not sure how to describe it but it wasn't believable and I actually got up about 3 chapters prior to the end and forgot I hadnt finished. The Virgin thing freaked me out a bit, especially the way it was described. I was literally in a 30 year age Gap relationship for 5 years and I was the younger, so I typically prefer age gaps but something about this was off. Patricia's reaction to Wanda being a virgin was just....not what I typically would think another female would think of it or at least it wasn't worded correctly to make me think of it in the proper way. I can totally see how it could be if described correctly. I also didn't see Jessica as a fully formed character and I felt like the author didn't put enough time into either forming her or considering what someone like that may ACTUALLY say. Especially if those were Jessica's motives all along, Also a bunch of the things said between the characters or their interactions, or the way they thought internally didn't work for me. It came off as super cheesy. I honestly think this wouldve done better as a 3rd person Novel. And with a bit more character development on the authors viewpoint. However I did finish the thing so it was definitely readable. If it was any worse Id have dropped it but I enjoyed it - to a degree. I liked the office romance and I liked Patricia's character but some things were just offish enough for me to notice basically. If this was a self publish, which I suspect it was - could've used an editor for structure and development.
